Richard Gary Kennison – March 5, 2018

Richard Gary Kennison, 56, of Kingsland passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 5, 2018 at his residence.
Born July 20, 1961 in Brunswick, GA, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Gloria J. Kennison.  He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Kennison, Jr.
Gary had been a resident of Camden County since 2012.  He was a truck driver and an expert dry wall finisher.  He raced cars at the Jax Raceway, was a gun and knife collector and enjoyed fishing.  Gary Loved and adored his family.
Survivors include his wife, Zina Kennison of Callahan, FL; children, Kaleb Kennison of Oceanway, FL, Mackenzie Kennison and Taylor Kennison both of Callahan, FL, and John Michael Sutton of St. Marys;  brother, Randy Kennison of St. Marys.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Dee D. Gaskill – February 28, 2018

Dee Dewain Gaskill, 81, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Community Hospice, Baptist Medical Center Nassau in Fernandina, FL.

Born March 16th 1936 in Spencerville Ohio, he was the son of the late Earl Gaskill, Sr and Francis Huber Gaskill.  He was also predeceased  in death by his five brothers and a sister.

He is Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia Ann Steinbach Gaskill;  children, Rosemarie Ann Jones (Mark) Victoria Ann Brooks (Harry) Timothy Dewain Gaskill (Edith);  grandchildren, Rhonda Marie Peterson ( Kurt ), Teresa Lynn Smith (Fred,) Brandy Jean Faircloth, Stephanie Laurence Cato (Jamie), Joshua Michael LaRock, David Gaskill, Brian Gaskill, Brittney Nichoel Moore, Alexis Gaskill, Jessica Gaskill; great grandchildren, Jacob Peterson, Tyler Peterson, Tekoa Peterson, Justice Walker, Owen   Smith, Jaida Walker, Liberty Walker, Cali Walker, Jacob Ireland, Zachary Faircloth, Autumn Nichoel Moore, Johnathan Alexander Moore;  Brother, Ronald Gaskill (Becky).

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a loving husband and a good friend to many. He will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 10, 2018 at 1 pm at St. Marys United Methodist Church, 106 Conyers St, St. Marys, GA, with Pastor Tom Jones officiating and with military honors. A reception will follow services.

Lanny G. DeBoard – February 27, 2018

Lanny G. DeBoard, 71, of Kingsland passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his residence.

Born May 12, 1946 in Martin, KY, he was the son of the late Martin and Betty Ruth DeBoard.

Mr. DeBoard had been a resident of Camden County for the past 20 years, and was retired from the United States Navy, retiring with 21 years of services.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in St. Marys at 1:00 pm, with Chaplain Richard Anderson and Ron Rein officiating, and with full Military Honors.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki DeBoard; children, Lisa Sherbarth, (Earl), Lanny DeBoard, Jr (Mary), David McLain (Chris), Robert DeBoard (Melissa), Richard DeBoard (Jackie), Kristia Chapman (Ricky) Stacey Ellis (Travis); Sisters, Shelioh & Joan Post; 17 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Lanny DeBoard, be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles for Parkinson’s, 01 C Industrial Drive, St. Marys, GA  31558.
