Frances “Frank” Koehler, 72, of Kingsland, passed away June 19, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 16, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Roland and Mary Clark Koehler. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward Koehler.
Mr. Koehler had been a resident of Camden County since 2005, and retired from his business, The Koehler Group, in 2001. He gave to many charitable organizations and to individuals in need. He was a gentleman and a true lover of life, including being an avid golfer and lover of cats. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving his country honorably during the Vietnam Era.
A Celebration of Mr. Koehler’s Life was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 12 noon, from Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, with his son, Francis R. Koehler, Jr. officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Ellyn Christina Koehler of Kingsland; son, Francis Roland Koehler, Jr. (Susan) of Garnet Valley, PA; daughter, April Ellyn Sullivan (Patrick) of Woodbine; brother, Roland Koehler (Diane) of Sea Isle, NJ; sister, Mary Bell (Al) of Ocean City, NJ; grandchildren, Maggie Koehler, Max Koehler, and Dean Koehler; several nieces and nephews.
