Ann Johnson Lundin, 90, of St. Marys passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
Ms. Ann was born September 29, 1926, in Clearwater, FL, to the late Herbert and Margaret Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. David J. Lundin, son, David Richard Lundin, and twin great great granddaughters, Emma Rae and Addison Ann Sellars.
Ms. Ann had been a resident of Camden County since 1954, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Marys. She taught Sunday School for 65 years, was co-director of Women on Missions, member of the Silver Saints Choir and Heaven Bound Sunday School Class. She was very active in her church and was loved so dearly by all her church family. Ms. Ann was a member of the Earl of Camden Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, currently serving as Chaplain, and very active member of the St. Marys Senior Center. Such a loving, kind hearted lady, with a smile always on her face, she will forever be remembered and never forgotten.
Survivors include her three daughters, Judy L. Thurner (Chris), Barbara D. Lundin all of St. Marys, and Margie L. McDonald (Stewart) of Kodiak, Alaska; five grandchildren, Dennis Caldwell, Christi Caldwell Sellars, Suzi Caldwell Lee, John McDonald, and Anna McDonald; three great grandchildren, Austin Sellars (Ashley), Morgan Sellars, and Clayton Sellars; great great granddaughter, Hartley Sellars; cousin, Teri Jackson; daughter in law, Marilyn Lundin Decker; former son in law, Wayne Caldwell (Ginny), her faithful and loyal pet, Lady, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of St. Marys at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Steve Kegley, Pastor Rick Douylliez, and Pastor Ron Wildes officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior to services from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Pallbearers: Dennis Caldwell, Austin Sellars, Clayton Sellars, Harold Fortner, Frank Ridenour, Edwin Merrow, Sonny Stewart, and Alan Chester.
Honorary: Parnell Crump, Lewis Gordon, Bobby Mitchell, J.R. Jones, Jim Stearn, Ron Dubose, James Roberson, Conrad Carlson, Nick Ayers, members of the DAR and Heaven Bound Sunday School Class.
