Rebecca “Becky” Ridenour, 74, of St. Marys, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord, NC.
Born December 30, 1939, in White Oak, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edith Cottle Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bruce Ridenour.
Becky was a lifelong resident of Camden County, moving to Concord, NC in 2013 to be close to her children. She had been employed at the United First Federal Credit Union as an Executive Assistant, retiring with 50 years of service. She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church where she was a very active member, had also served as Treasurer, and member of St. Marys United Methodist Church Women’s group.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Amy and Brandon Thomas of Davidson, NC, and son, Mark Ridenour of Charlotte, NC; sister, Libby Patterson of Jacksonville, FL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10 am from St. Marys United Methodist Church with Pastor Derek McAleer and Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, July 14, 2014 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.
