Allen L. Altringer, 67, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Al was born July 22, 1950 in Devils Lake, ND, and was the son of the late Harvey and Dorothy Altringer. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffaney Altringer.
Al had been a resident of Camden County for the past 17 years. He was a canine breeder and animal trainer and rehabilitator for many years. He enjoyed hunting, watching football, and being around his friends joking around. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 12 noon at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys with Pastor Tommy Sikes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Altringer of White Oak; daughter, Kristi Altringer Novin of Oxford, CT; son, Christopher Altringer of White Oak; sisters and brothers, Myrna (Tom) Peterson and Lyle Altringer of Devils Lake, ND, Larry (Diane) Altringer of Grand Forks, ND, Jerry (Linda) Altringer of Spokane, WA, Bob (Kathy) Altringer of Crookston, MN, Joan Durbin of Garland, TX, Dick (Kerry) Altringer of Storm Lake, IA, Jay (Dyanne) Altringer and Steve Altringer of Minot, ND; granddaughter, Ainsley Novin; several aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
