James Richard Sirmon, III – June 19, 2018

“Captain’’ Ricky Sirmon, 43, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Ricky was born September 7, 1974 in Brunswick, GA, and had lived most of his life in Camden County.  He was a graduate of Escambia High School in Pensacola, FL.  Ricky worked many years with O’Quinn Well Drilling, and was a Charter Boat Captain.  The water was Ricky’s life.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, flying, music, and diving.  He loved spending time with his daughter Davannah, rarely seeing one without the other, and she was her daddy’s girl.
Survivors include his daughter, Davannah Sirmon, sons, Timothy and Tyler Sirmon; mother and step father, Deborah and Freddie Combs of Folkston; sister, Jill Manley (Gary); half sister and brother, Jamie Townsend (Dane) and Johnathon Sirmon; 3 step brothers, Lee Barber (Jennifer), Brian Barber (Karen), and Josh Combs; step sister, Lori Combs; several nieces and nephews.  Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Sirmon, infant son, James R. Sirmon, IV, and father, James R. Sirmon, Jr.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
