Richard Jason Angel – July 19, 2018

Richard Jason Angel, 42, of St. Marys passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Candler Hospital in Savannah.
Richard was born March 10, 1976 in Tamuning, Guam, and had been a resident of Camden County since 1982.  He was a 1995 graduate of Camden County High School, and served active duty in the United States Army from 1995 to 2001, and the Army National Guard from 2002 to 2011.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
Services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys at 6:00 pm with Bishop Jack Gross officiating.  Visitation will follow the service.  Interment will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors.
Survivors include his parents, Armando and Juanita Rosaria Angel of St. Marys; brother, Gerald Angel, and sister Amanda Angel Faleschini (Pete); niece, Isadora Faleschini; three nephews, Sawyer Faleschini, Wyatt Faleshchini, and Asher Faleschini.
The family requests Memorial Contributions in memory of Richard Angel be made to the Diabetes Foundation or American Lung Association.
Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
