Charles Edison Brazell – August 10, 2018

Charles Edison Brazell, 87, of Kingsland, passed away peacefully with his
family by his side on Friday, August 10, 2018.

Mr. Brazell was a  lifelong resident of Camden County.  He was preceded in
death by his parents, John and Bessie Gay Brazell, his wife, Brenda Capps
Brazell, son, Charles Steven Brazell, six brothers and six sisters.

Mr. Brazell had been employed with Occidental Petroleum Corporation,
retiring with 20 years of service.  He was a veteran of the United States
Army, serving from 1952-1954, and was attached to the United States Air
Force through SCARWAF (Special Category Army reassigned with the Air
Force).  He enjoyed dancing, fishing, planting his gardens, but most of all
loved his family.  He was a member of the Kingsland First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Myrtice Marrs (Fred) of St. Simons Island,
Cynthia Brazell Strickland, Bess Renee Brazell Norton (Tim), and Deidra
Brazell O’Quinn (Russell) all of Kingsland; grandchildren, Courtney
Strickland, Ryan Norton, Chase Strickland, Hunter Strickland,
Kendal Norton, and Charles Royce O’Quinn; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at the
Kingsland First Baptist Church, with Pastor Vernon Dillingham and Pastor
Brian Parker officiating.  Burial to follow at Brazell Cemetery.

The family received friends at Allison Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 13,
2018 fro 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Pallbearers: Ryan Norton, Chase Strickland, Hunter Strickland, John Robert
Davis, Joseph Stover, John Avis Brazell.

Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of
arrangements.
