Randa Mimi Klawuhn, 47, of St. Marys, passes away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Randa was born January 15, 1971 in Bangor, Maine. She had been a resident of Camden County since 1993 and taught at Matilda Harris Elementary School for 25 years. Randa was also former Georgia Teacher of the Year. She was a member of the St. Marys First Baptist Church and Sunday School teacher for the children. She enjoyed reading and inspiring children to read.
Funeral services and a Celebration of Randa’s Life will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm at St. Marys First Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Kegley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time at 2:00 pm. A private interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Klawuhn, three children, Garrett Klawuhn, Jonah Klawuhn, and Kalista Klawuhn all of St. Marys; sister, Amanda McCullough of Austin, TX;her fur babies, Daisy and Pumpkin, and extended family at Matilda Harris Elementary School.
The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Randa, be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Golden Isles Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
