James Franklin “Frank” Sheffield – August 29, 2014

James Franklin “Frank” Sheffield, 66, of Woodbine, passed away with his family by his side, on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
Frank was born February 5, 1948 to William Arnold and Gloria Peeples Sheffield.  He was a life long resident of Camden County, and a 1966 graduate of Camden County High School.  Following graduation, Frank went on to attend several colleges, and having many business ventures in his life, He was employed with Kings Bay Support Services, LLC for the past 24 years.
Frank loved people and people loved Frank.  You will be missed dearly by your friends and especially your family.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 11 am, at Sheffield Cemetery in Kingsland with Pastor Rodney Pierce officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, September 2nd, at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Pallbearers: Todd Turner, Jim Mullis, Jason Pritchard, Danny Simmons, Buddy Register, Paul Singletary, Sam House and Claude Dorning.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Marilyn Sheffield of Woodbine; son James Franklin Sheffield, Jr., daughter-in-law, Melissa Sheffield of Fernandina Beach, FL; son-in-law, Sam House: mother, Gloria P. Sheffield of Woodbine; brother, Bill Sheffield of Kingsland; four grandchildren, Adriana, Isabella, Joshua, and Vega; several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Frank was preceded in death by his father, William Arnold Sheffield, and his daughter, Melissa S. House.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in memory of Frank Sheffield be made to the American Cancer Society.
Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
