Margaret C. Galyean passed away peacefully on September 30, 2015 at the Senior Care Center, St. Marys, Georgia. She was born on February 28, 1922 in Corinth, Mississippi to William Arthur and Etta Alice Crocker.
She retired as a secretary of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church in Jackson, Tennessee after 33 years of service. She was pre-deceased by her mother and father, brother Wallace, sister Vera, and her World War II fiancé W.A.. She is survived by her daughter Ann (Bob) Gardner, grandson Marc Gardner, granddaughter Amy (Tye) Tyler, great grandchildren, Nick, Jake, and Claire, and three nieces, Ginger, Faye and Fonda.
As a single parent, she devoted her life to raising her daughter Ann, and her family will never forget everything she did for them and the love she showed.
Burial will be in Corinth, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church St. Marys, Georgia on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rick Douylliez officiating.
