Kenny W. Harrelson, 59, of St. Marys, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at his residence.
Born February 19, 1956 in Mullins, SC, he was the son of the late Troy L. and Bernice Capps Harrelson. Kenny was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald Harrelson and Ronald Harrelson.
Kenny had been a resident of Camden County since 1973, attended Kingspointe Fellowship Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S.Army serving his country honorably during the Cold War.
Kenny was a motorcycle enthusiast, re-storing Harley Davidsons every chance he had to do so. His passion was going to Daytona and working at the Iron Horse Saloon.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2 pm at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Gregory Bevan officiating. The family will receive friends at Allison Memorial Chapel on Tuesday from 12 noon to 1:30 pm, prior to the graveside services.
Pallbearers: Brent Green, Jeffery Harrelson, Buddy Hill, Jack Hancock, Rick Perkins.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Harrelson of St. Marys; son, Kenneth Troy Harrelson (Angel) of Cape Canaveral, FL; sisters, Cheryl Hancock (Jack) of Sandia, TX, and Cendy Perkins (Rick) of Waverly; his grandchildren who were his life, Nathan Allen Harrelson and Aimee Nicole Harrelson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Kenny be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
